The Outer Wall
About this creation
This glorious Kingdom is protected by a vast wall from invaders and other dangers of the outside world. It also serves as an unofficial border of prosperity and health. The kingdom holds some of the most fertile land known, but on the other side of the wall exists a desolate landscape littered with half dead trees and formerly battle wounded soldier. That land of nothing borders the entire eastern wall for miles. As the peaceful peasants farm their land and care for their livestock, life struggles to exist just mere yards away.

Wow! I love contrasting scenes in the same vig. The dead tree, cow scull and flowers are exceptional and I love how it is rounded on the sides. keep up the good work!

Love the contrast between the two sides. One is a wasteland while the other is a (seemingly) prosperous land of farms and life. The technique for the wall is good too.

Quoting Paul M. Say...how do you get such good lighting is there any tips you could give me?
This is my light box which consists of a few plain white sheets, and a frame to hold it up along with lamps on three sides as in the picture in the linky- http://www.flickr.com/photos/30041364@N08/4904811791/ I also recommend bumping up the exposure a tad as well.

Nice! Where'd you get the bag on the back of the farmer in the field of white plants(cotton, I presume?)?

I love how the wall separates the two different sides, like a wide margin holding back two worlds from colliding... way-cool, that!

This is great Dan. The two sides are almost two persprectives of life. One the pessimist, one the opti... nevermind. Great work, the new pieces for this year work well. Cheers!~Swift

This MOC is a very detailed and creative work! I love how it depicts two different life styles. One part is death the other is green lushes meadows. I'm starting to sound like a poet...wait lemme make this comment simple...Your made this MOC perfect. Say...how do you get such good lighting is there any tips you could give me? Thanks. P.S. 5/5!
