after 2 weeks of working on my sigfig moc and feeling uninspired, I saw that FBTB was throwing a Chibi Fighter contest. As soon as I saw the word Chibi, I thought "I can probably build something for that." This is my official entry for FBTB's Chibi Fighter contest (duh!) Anyway, the rules stipulate that it needs to hold at least 1 minifig. How about 5 (not counting Luke)?! As you can imagine, the biggest challenge was getting this to stand and pose with that HUGE head! I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. As always, please RATE and COMMENT:)

Gotta be the coolest Chibi creation on the 'Pages so far!! Super-chunk factor goin' on with the head is definitely the main focal point for this awesome build; sub-greebs are spot-on, AND holds five, count 'em FIVE mini-figs?? Outta this world, bro - A+! - Huss Q. |

This is not an official set. I built it from scratch. I did use the feet from the real set and modified them a bit, though. |

It's always hard to get a head that big to balance on such a small frame... just ask Kelso. (ZING) Nice work! ~ Chris. |

Although, minifig scale AT-AT would be high around 55 cm. But you AT-At is so cute and cool. Can you post LDD instructions. I would like to build it. It would look beautiful on shelf.
Thanks! Unfortunately, I have no idea how to do LDD instructions:( |

Wow, you and MacLane had the exact same idea and uploaded on the same day. http://www.flickr.com/photos/27826007@N05/5355332005/in/faves-tigmon74/ I prefer the larger head, complete with two pilots and Veers, and your scaling works much better with Luke hanging there. I decided to rebuild my old AT-AT, the official one, but have spent the last two days slowly redesigning the head, again, to fit all three figs and it's 95% done, just need to finish the lid. Probably won't post it, as the head is all I think I'll bother redesigning (I just wanted to have it on my shelf again), but I'll send you a pic or two to see what you think.~H
I know! I thought that was pretty funny and sent him an "angry" message:) His build is pretty cute, though. Definately send me some pics of your AT-AT. I'd love to see it! |

Wow... great work on the Chibi conversion, and the cockpit capacity (and hanging Luke) are good features. I have one non-build question... how come MOCers usually capitalize all the letters in the word Chibi? It's a Japanese term, rather than an acronym, if I'm not mistaken.
I just do it for DRAMATIC EFFECT! |
