Firstly, I actually liked the "arms attached to the legs" look. It was very unique, Too unique for some people I guess... Anyway, I'm really liking the oversized forearms and the new legs.

Supremely amazing, as always. That stud-pinhole connecting technique is and always will be a staple in my own style now - in fact Tazzuk, my third most popular MOC, owes a lot of its popularity to its wings, which you inspired. This guy is brilliant - the shoulders I love, although I can't help but think of how devastating a fighter he would have been with pseudo-arms attatched in reality to his knees...

This guy reminds me of a "Megadeuce" mech from the anime "Big O" with the oversized limbs. I think you should still build a ninja-styled warrior anyway for comparison.
