About this creation

Ok, yes this is the house I built for Matija Grgurics Family Home competition. During the breakdown I decided to have some fun - originally planned for Thunder Falls, this trial was postponed until I was allowed to use my tripod :)

Great job, I don't think that many people realize that it take so much work to make a film like this, but I believe that the work has really paid off and thanks for sharing this creation with other people. KEEP ON BUILDING!!! :D

Quoting Leda Kat =^..^= Wicked!!! That was so cool! Its like the scene in the original "The Time Machine" when he's watching the landscape change and grow around him. Well done!
Thanks Leda :) 4 hours time and the final of Pirates Remorse will be added :)

It must have been torture; putting one brick down, picture, another one, picture, brick, picture...

Quoting Heath 'kik36' Flor That's fantastic!! I'm amazed that you build a house around the foliage, rather than the other way around. Or did you build the foliage after you built the house for the contest, and already knew the dimensions?
The house was built first, but it was made to be removable so I could add to the MOC without breaking and brickwork. The stop motion for the house alone would use around 1000 images for its 3000 parts, I havn't added it yet.

Wow! This is great... it's like watching someone paint, only with LEGOs. This is absolutely stunning and a great insight into some of the construction techniques.

Quoting Blake Baer Wow Thoy! One thing I noticed in the angle of the house is the hardcore brickwork going on there! Great work and awesome video.
Cheers Blake, the actual comp upload was done on Christmas day, it didn't land too many visitors but I wasn't surprised as the Pages had a quiet day :)

Quoting Tom Simon I'm assuming this was not the first time you've done this. Looks quite practiced. So how many callouses do you have on your shutter trigger finger now?
Nope this is my first go at it, just put theory into practise. Shutter finger is ok, the pics were taken over the course of 2 nights and 1 day.
