In 2010 the district of Hoboken, Antwerp, where I live, celebrated its 875 anniversary. So they asked me to "make something". I designed a giant LEGO mosaic with local Landmarks, and asked kids from the 6th year of elementary school to help me build it.

I agree that it is an excellent idea to ask the children to participate... Most of us had to re-discover LEGO as adults - in this way we can avoid this 'mistake' ;o)
The work itself is stunning.
