Christmas celebration and a medieval festival on the same day? Just another day in our LEGO city.
About this creation
Hooray for the holidays! A long-standing promise finally fulfilled: we completely cleared off my 8-year old daughter's desk, put down some base-plates and started building our LEGO city. The picture above is the city in its full glory with 106 inhabitants. It was slowly built over 8 days (and has to be taken apart tomorrow :-( )
Weary minifigs can relax in our well-tended garden.
Suburban life: pigs get brushed, lawns get mowed. We have a bunny looking out the window!
There's a medieval festival on the front-street! Four knights in full gear, exotic birds and even a jester. There's a minifig on patrol to clean up the... "gifts" that horses leave behind.
The glorious fire hall! The crew is lined up watching the festivities. Is that Princess Leia walking into the phone booth?
What city would be complete without a shop? You need to buy something? The Shop is the place. We sell... wares, it's a shop after all! Looks like someone loves cherries.
More suburban life. That barking you hear is coming from the dog park. Is that a ninja peeking through the window?
The glorious Christmas tree. Every minfig who is anyone came to bask in its glory, most of them wearing costumes.
