After months of saving, buying, building, and improving the December update is here. Much is added, also the new XXL Police Station, and the XL pizzaria. But more about those later
About this creation

View from the WIP harbour, still need to buy 5 blue baseplates to finish it.

THe new XXL station contains many prison cells for the criminals. The spotlights give the policemen a clear view, even at night, the policestation is made of 2 new policestations, and an older one.

The comunication tower helps to keep the policeforce informed about any kind of crime. The tower also functions as a guard tower.

The station contains a total of 6 garages, meaning 6 vehicles can be stored there.

Isnide the big prison cell, it's generally just the same as in set 7498, but combined with another one to make it closed and bigger, the sliding door function still works the same.

A close up of the other prison cell, an excact copy as the one in the set.

Thanks to the tiles placed under the prisons, they can be removed to see the garages, this could still use some work.

Two police motorbikes

The main office, generally just an enlarged version of the one in 7498

The entrance to the policestation is highly secured with a special policeman with a bulletproof vest.

General shot of the office, did I mention it also has a helipad on top?

Another view

The first floor contains a eating area and the dog feeding and sleeping area

different view

Also on the first floor is this, a desk with a female police officer, she is a secretary.

The second floor. Here all the investigation takes place. Again, also here is a water boiler.

The mug shot area on the second floor.

The third floor contains the real headquarters, many computers and other high-tech stuff to watch the streets in the City.

Here's the big desk where all the officers sometimes have a meeting.

Here's the field officer, eating a pizza

The helicopter with the helipad

For emergencys we have a small extinguisher, it only needs a small oil depot to refuel the helicopter

The secondary entrance to the office

Another view of the city

And the pizzaria, inspired by the one from the City Corner set. It's just an larger version,

Another view, note that it has two entrances

Close up

First floor, in the back we have two ovens where the pizza's are made. More forward is a coffee machine, and in the front are the cash registers, where the good citizens can order and pay for their pizza's

You can also sit downstairs

But with a stair going to the second floor, there must be more places to sit. And there are. Also on this floor is a small vending machine (behind the stairs) for excotic drinks.

Another view

Also a trashcan,

Another overview from the opposite side

And that's the last one

So that's it for this update, tell me what you think and what could be improved

The large pizza shop is incredible! How many pizza shop sets did it take to make that? Your sets have really inspired me and I'm only just restarting my city after a 20 year break! I cannot believe what I'm seeing on this site. Amazing stuff. Love your MASSIVE police station too and all the detail inside, especially loved the water machine.

Great little city! Might I recommended a Fire Station?

Great job, I love the police station! The only thing I would recommend is adding more greenscapes. I think urban areas are too... gray, so I added an urban forestry program to my city. Keep up the good work, and thanks for adding me as a favorite!

Great city with quite a huge police station you got there! Looks really good in this overall setup; don't think it would fit in mine. :)

wow! your police station makes me want to redo mine bigger! it s superb! the garages, cells, meeting room, ect, all so nice and well tought of, improvements, the dogs should nt be in he cafeteria, check out mine, they live in the garage, with the vehicles, it s another security mesure in the post, also, you re pretty lucky to have so many road plates, but, on the building plates, you should respect 6 wide free space for sidewalks, again my work is a good reference, your city is becoming a real wonder, but, it s going to get a bit jammed without 6 wide sidewalks,i like your pizzeria, but, you only left 2 studs free, we can see the road plate is too near the building, it does nt look as real or good that if you d have respected that standard all around, i did that mistake too! just look at my first police station, or bank, you ll see, i know, it s hard work, but, well worth it in the end, as the result is showing, it s especially worth it to you since you have such nice material to do it! keep at it, it s wonderful to see your concepts and designs, i ll check it out!
