A custom version of LEGO Architecture set #21005
About this creation
This is my interpretation of the official LEGO Architecture set #21005. I sought to bring a little more detail, color, and foliage into the model without radically changing the original set design.
The model separates in the same puzzle-like fashion as the official set, although the lack of availability of some pieces in the dark tan color makes this design slightly less structurally sound.
I elected to make the base in black as a nod to the other models in the Architecture series and to help highlight the relief changes in the landscape. This meant I couldn't use the tan printed tile from the LEGO set, so I had to improvise with some 1x1 letter tiles.

Very nice, I think LEGO should be commissioning you for its architectural models. |

I can only echo what other people have said about this excellent creation. The colours are far superior to those of the official model and I love the use of the grill plates for the windows. Nice touch. |

Yea, 2010 has sort of been an off year for me building MOCs. I figured I better finish off on a high note! |

I like this the best of all the ones I've seen. The colors and texture are the most organic, which I think was what FLW was after. And for the scale, really impressive. I wouldn't buy the official set, but I would buy this one. Well done! |

I got this for Christmas and built it that night. The one thing I don't like about the original is that the building and the rock and ground are the same color. It dosent make it pop at all. |
