LEGO Crash test Subaru Forester
This is a MOC I made of a Subaru Forester, it isnít an ordinary MOC of a car, this one had crash damage effects! I want to buy some Crash Test Dummy Minifigs but I havenít gotten around to it yet.
About this creation
Background:
I got the idea for making this MOC from this old RC car I have, the Regenerator. I decided to make a crash test SUV, but after I finished building it I realized it looked almost exactly like a Forester, so I changed the name. It took me a week, working all day for the first two days and off and on after that to build it. It can fit 4 minifigs, but because of how bulky the crash mechanism is, you have to take their legs off.

Halfway done pics:
These are pics of the SUV halfway done; at this point it was looking like a Chevy Suburban, which was a much bigger car than I wanted. So I made it shorter, too short to be an SUV, but I was tired of setbacks so I decided to just wing it.

Finished pics
These are the pics of the Subaru after I finished it:

Quoting Alex B How does it do that?
Lots of hinges as well as some parts are only attached by a small part so they break off easily. This page really needs to be updated, the pictures are really blurry. I hope to get a video of it crashing as well as how it is built up in the next few days.

Quoting Preston the car nerd Although it looks.....strange, i really like the functions. you should post a video of it crashing and the crash mechanisms working, but if youre as bad with computers as i am, it might not be easy, trust me because i tried to post a video and it screwed up my page so i had to delete that moc.
I'm pretty good with computers when it comes to installing operating systems or taking them apart but I haven't done much video/webpage editing, and probably wouldn't have time to make a video of it anyway, but I will try and get some better pictures (more angles/less blurry) up soon and show/explain how the crash mechanism works. Thanks for the comment.
