Built for a MOC-off with Ribbits M. It is a command frame used by frogspace forces, piloted by froggy psychics that can give orders all across the battlefield using their telepathy. The head design is originally from this hardsuit by Chewk:www.flickr.com/photos/-chuckc-/sets/72157613085563095/

About this creation

I figured I wasn't going to be intimidated by whatever lengthy backstory Mr. M provides, so I would concoct one of my own...
On the subject of fuel efficiency, what with the recent 'screw nature' 'save nature' debate, the frogspace vehicle production corporation Ladnarr Industries decided to take a new approach, similar to that of the monkey pain-bike, only that it works in reverse, charging up the vehicles battery as it inflicted pain on other things. This outraged the monkey community as they had worked so hard on their pain-battery and now it was being manipulated by the frogs. Plenty of monkey-hippies gathered at the headquarters of Ladnarr industries, asking to be destroyed by the new vehicle. As the command frame mowed them down with it's plasma cannon, these hippies attempted to not feel pain, thus making the vehicle run out of energy. This, of course, failed,and currently all of the staff of Ladnarr Industries is feasting on dead monkey roasted by the excess energy gathered by the vehicle.

The Horatius is usually equipped with a blast shield, excellent against pesky monkey mortar cannons.

I've also heard it's excellent for balancing on while gloating about some smooshed monkey or whatnot.

Artsy close-ups! Here's the psychic froggy. I wonder if the LEGO® company will ever make a frog without the expression 'smug'? Although the head design was stolen, it was pure ingenuity that led me to put a visor inside.

The upper rear, with the batteries. I'm not sure what those yellow cylinders with the danger stripes are for, but I'm sure they're very dangerous.

Here's the gun/plasma saw. I'm very fond of the colour neon-orange.

And lastly, the calf and foot. I like for my feet to have toes. How would you feel if you didn't have toes?

I got an unusual response from Ribbits ("Hey Mark, A MOC-off sounds fine to me. I don't recall being challenged to one, but they're always fun. Just let me know where I'm supposed to show up!"), and I'm not sure where things stand. Sounds as though he's not aware of this still needing to be judged. I told him I'd sit tight until you were able to communicate with one another. If you both decide these are still up for a judgement call, just let me know, and I'll be glad to do it.
