Since the leader in my youtube 2011 fans choice contest is looking to be G1 Devastator I decided to get a head start and build the first of 6 Constructicons that will form this mighty (and large) MOC! Here is G1 Scrapper the official leader and Engineer of the Constructicons.
This MOC fully transforms from front end loader , to robot to right leg of the original Decepticon combiner Devastator! I gave up a little articulation to get him sturdy enough to hold up which is looking to be a large and heavy MOC. All and all though still very superposeable.
I've been a silent observer for a time now and can remain as such no more. This idea you have is outstanding!! I've looked through and saw all the ROTF versions and while they're impressive, I've wanted to see someone tackle the original as you plan to. I tried a month ago with LDD and scrapped it, no pun intended.

scratch that last statement.....just read some more comments
Yes Chris! I always knew you would make Devastator. What a great start! Vehicle, robot, and combiner modes... Another massive project for you. :) Can't wait to see which one you make next. Robot mode on this one looks great.
as stated below .. have not decided if each individual constructicon will get there own vid now or not. Each MOC that forms Devastator might be altered along the way due to engineering constraints for the final combinied MOC! ...so maybe when they are all done they'll get their videos along with Devastator. LOL!

Is there going to be a video on this?

The amount of old green on this is making my head spin - amazing feat of engineering mate. I'm impresed by how you made the legs look exactly like they do in the cartoons!
Fully transformable, combinable and poseable Constructicons? Well if anyone on MOCpages can pull it off it'll be you. Good start here and I look forward to seeing the others! Scrapper was always my favorite cartoon Constructicon, although his toy was always falling over backwards because of the digger bucket on its back. This one looks well balanced though. Keep it up!

and also i am hosting a combiner constest
once ur done devastator can u enter my contest
and suggest a deadline
Oh, man! This looks great so far! Too bad Lego doesn't make alot of lime green parts so you could make him look authentic. As with most of your builds, I still have the originals packed away in my garage. I've been wanting to do my own combiner (mini Voltron maybe) and will some day get to that. can't wait to see the rest, man!
