Hmmm... that hand. The gap between the finger(pointing upwards) and the rest of the hand structure needs some outlining.

I agree, the hand seems a little deformed, the fingers a little skinny or something. The rest looks great, and as always, love the shadowing.

"Hand" and "cartoon" were the words I was going to use too. This is the first of Your mosaics that doesn't look great.

Looking at it again, you're right! :) He was very fair skinned, so there wasn't any shadow or color between his hand and his face... I guess I ended up making it more cartoonish than I should have.

I love this! And for the comment above, in Sean's defense, this guy is arguably the best builder in North America, and calling the hand a "fail" doesn't make you look very good. I'd like to see you do any better. Sean, great job, you know you are incredible.
