XV-89 'Tiberius' Hardsuit
Yes, we have yet another froggy hardsuit. I call it 'Tiberius'. Not sure why...
About this creation
The XV-89 'Tiberius' was originally designed by the frogs for deep-space operations, such as raiding enemy hospital ships, dropping space stations and battleships on civilian populations centers, breaking space elevators, and committing general war crimes. It should also be noted it can carry the standard-issue looting sack. However, after several months of extremely successful operations, they'd run out of Monkey space stations to drop. So in order to allow the Monkey Space Station Population to come back from the brink of extinction, the suits were dropped on the ground and told to ruin someone's day. And so they did. So far they have been dropped on precisely seven and half planets (One of the planets is technically a moon), and so far the pilots have not quite finished breaking everything, but from reports we have received we believe that the residents are likely imagining a relaxing vacation in scenic Mordor. It's not pretty. However, it makes for excellent television. There are 24 different reality tv shows featuring this suit.

However, as with all good things (Like Deforestation, Smoking, etc), there are bleeding-heart liberals who oppose them. None of whom are frogs, of course, but the Galactic Senate likes to pretend it has power. So far this mech design has earned more sanctions against it than any previous suit, and most now come with a built in plaque declaring this.

The hardsuit is chunky, well armored, and good at stomping on people's heads.
Huh, it's been awhile since I've done this.

The arms are a little thinner than elsewhere, but they're easily repaired.
I'd forgotten about this feature, to be honest.

Imposing, no? And the blue things are fuel cells, not thrusters. This mech is suited up for land operatios, and had it's thruster pack removed.
Kind of embarassing, really

The other side.
I recently finished the Trigun anime.

Note the big armored shoulders. They're not Imperial Space Marine armored, but they're good enough.
That was a fun one, I recommend it.

The short, stocky legs are good for stomping, and have a small thuster system for limited range jumps. Like for leaping onto a fleeing Monkey's head.
Plenty of ridiculous gunfights and what not.

Our smug pilot.
Hmmm... Running out of space here.

And when filling your enemy full of hot, shiny bullets just isn't enough, you also have the option of killing him or her to teeny tiny pieces with a sword. It also makes a really fun swoosh sound when you swing it.
Well, that's it for this one, I guess.

Thrusters activating in three... two... one...
Sayonara!

*Whoosh*. *Squish*

And that's all folks! Thanks for stopping by! Drop me a comment if you have the time!

Do antennae count for that?

Quoting Areetsa C Kind of an interesting frame. Nice to see the mouseover captions return, too. I docked a few decapitated heads for not having a big enough gun, though. #1 rule of zero gee hardsuits: if the gun isn't bigger than you are, you're doing something wrong.
CURSES!!! How could I forget that rule?!? And I finally remembered those captions. I've been sort of out of it lately.
Quoting Matt David Chalk up another point to Ribbits for "Odd Pieces Used as Mech Heads." Well done, as well. So, you've used a raft, a boat, and now an upside-down washing bucket. Awesome!
Woohoo! Touchdown!
Quoting Waffles . I just realized that I totally on accident named a little hardsuit guy tiberius on flickr, I must have just viewed yours and then forgotten about it, but the tiberius still stuck. I will go name it something else. But great job, that bucket head is awesome. ~Waff
That's fine man! Don't worry about it, I stole the name from a 40k book. Mad props to whoever guesses which one.
