This vignette depicts a thief breaking into a Pharaohs tomb. Once again my apologies for the yellow text in the bottom right hand corner of the photos.
About this creation
WARNING: This is the one MOC in which I've gone against my Lego purist nature. I modified a piece. -shudders-
The thief.
The "artistic lighting shot".
The torch.
The flame in the torch was the piece I modified, to fit into the torch handle. This picture shows the original piece on the left and the modified piece on the right. I sanded down the "stud" on the bottom.
The serpent staff.
Serpent head.
The tunnel entrance to the tomb is one of my favorite parts of this vignette. In addition I gave a "cobblestone" element to the floors and walls, this technique is especially visible in this photo.
The Egyptian coffin or sarcophagus.
I designed the cover to slide off, revealing the deceased Pharaoh
The Pharaohs remains.
I used C3PO's head (from Lego Star Wars) to help create the Egyptian death mask.
The scorpion.
The tomb-robber (Mini-fig, with knife, bag, and torch).
