The Two Towers: Barad-dur and Orthanc
The kingdoms of Isengard and Mordor unite! These towers are my interpretation of the book not the movie's. Orthanc I imagine as a big rock not so much a structured tower. Enjoy!

Quoting William . Really nice i love the edited picture. COme check out my stuff. Though if i remember correctly dosent Tolkien describe orthanc as being black? I dont remember but great work, especially on baradur
You are right it was described as black. But maybe that refers to the atmosphere of Isengard? I know it's a stretch.

Quoting Ahpolki Ihu Was this in Lord of The Rings?
The names were in the LOTR movie, but these creations are my interpretation of the book, so not everything is like it was in the movie.

Quoting Michael Kringe Excellent towers! And I have to agree.... My interpretation of Orthanc looks more grey than black, too and more like a huge rock (a bit like Minas Tirith)!:) By the way... I've just added Cirdan the Shipwright and I'm going to create many Silmarillion characters the next weeks!
YAY!

Quoting Paul Vermeesch Fabulous Max!!! Orthanc is my favorite, and the fact that it opens is really neat! Nice editing on that first picture too. (Random question, but is that background image the Blue Mountains in Australia?)
Yup.
