A miniature Sith Fighter from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
About this creation
For Christmas this year I wanted to get the boys in my family something special. We all love Star Wars and LEGOs, but LEGO Star Wars sets tend to be a bit pricy. And since Target didn't have any miniature Star Wars sets this year, I decided to make my own using LEGO Digital Designer.



I didn't really know what the back of it looked like, but pictures of it often make it look round, so I decided on a tire rim.

There is an awful lot of black in the design. When I finally order one for myself, I will probably replace them with gray pieces in my collection. But the reason I stuck with black was because my goal was to make it completely from elements that can be purchased on pick-a-brick. And I think it turned out quite nicely.


It's got that great, skinny profile that makes it somewhat challenging to hit from a freighter-mounted turret.


And here it is under pursuit from an Aurek Fighter.

Instantly recognized, and the first one I've ever seen in Lego I believe. Looks very nice and I remember blasting a tone of those.
