Final - Thunder Falls Tower
6 weeks since I started this, its been a long time of waiting but I finally have all the bricks I needed to finish this Diorama. I present to you Thunder Falls Tower!
About this creation

Here is a closer view of the Tower, this shows all the different access ways around the levels.

The King riding his horse down the path towards the Towers guards, I like the way the trees kinda make an arch over the path (this was intentional)

A couple of maidens enjoying some tucker and the view as the King returns home with his soldiers.

The King with his soldiers, I had a few attempts at this because the middle guy kept blinking :@, but at least there was no red-eye ;)

Two of the Towers maidens at work in the vege patch. Here they grow Chocrots, Applebages Bananacorn and Tomerries - Wow nutritious!

Here is a view of the crane which is used for taking veges into the Tower.

The lookout guard. I was going to have this guy checking out a beach MOC 'Baywatch' style ;) Couldn't be bothered!

Some foliage.

A couple of men fishing with spears, love the old time skills!

An overview of the Towers entrance

The Queen and the Head of Tower Defense, standing patiently with the Kings pet Dog 'Mate'

A worker standing at his post, waiting to lift the veges up to the tower.

This is a view of the King heading up the path to his Queen

There you have it, I had a few things planned for this model when breaking it down. Unfortunately this will have to wait for a separate upload after Christmas (my partner wont let me use the new Tripod until then) :( Lets just say I'm going to make the destruction of this MOC a special one!

Thanks for stopping by and viewing the MOC. ~Thoy

I really like how you did the little rapids stepping down a plate or two at a time. It really goes a long way towards conveying the movement of the water. I hope Lego puts the trans dark blue tiles or even plates into more sets, or the PaB wall, because it's gotten too expensive to do good water like this!

This is such a beautiful creation, I can't imagine how many Prince of Persia sets it took, BTW where do the white foliage pieces come from?

Wow! Nice! I don't know where to start, it is so incredibly detailed! How many "Prince of Persia" sets do you have!?!?!? This is just awesome! I like the guys harpooning or fishing with spears, it adds a nice touch; And your "waterworks", as always, are just stunning! Very well done!

Quoting Eric and Lawson B Your water is some of the best I've seen. I don't like opaque water. The trans tiles and slopes look so much better. Your trees are also great. I like the round trunks. They really work well here. The white tree is my favorite.
Thanks Eric, my main inspiration for the water is Eggy Pop's work, the wedges are my little mod to his work :) Those white leaves have attracted many a comment now, and yes I love the way the white tree turned out too :) Keep an eye out on the 28th Dec, I will be posting my model for the house competition - and IMO it leaves this MOC for dead. Cheers

Cheers :) To be honest this was probably only about 48 hours maximum of time, most of the time was waiting for bricklink orders so I could finally finish the details I had in mind. Thanks again Lando!

Quoting Nathan Hawk Very vibrant. And, just wondering, how in the world did you get so many gold bricks? Anyway, its nice to see so many Lego trees in a MOC. Excellent work!
I agree about the trees! As for the gold lets just say my pockets were once a bit deeper and now they are empty, the Prince of Persia sets were once on sale, now they are bought. I still had to order 200 1x1 rounds from BL to complete this! Cheers for the comment :)

Quoting Leda Kat =^..^= The tower with all the different levels and the ladders up to each level reminds me of an old video game along the lines of the Bruce Lee game I used to play on my Commodore 64 back in the 80s, I can imagine a figure jumping and climbing up each level and encountering a foe to kick and spin attack!
I hear ya! I too could imagine it, so much room for some fighting action to be incorporated. Owel. As it is the MOC is now completely broken down so I can move onto the Brickhouse contest. Got limited time! And i'm not doing the cool breakdown video i'd thought of, maybe on the house...

I agree, though I have to say, yesterday I had a break from the brick and tried my hand at baking a Ginger Bread House... Lets just say after the attempt i'm glad to go back to the bricks - seems like a reverse psychology motivator. Stick to what im goo.. er semi-good at :)

Wow so much detail and hard work put into this. Its amazing. I love those white blossom trees, I didn't know they made that tree piece in white! The tower with all the different levels and the ladders up to each level reminds me of an old video game along the lines of the Bruce Lee game I used to play on my Commodore 64 back in the 80s, I can imagine a figure jumping and climbing up each level and encountering a foe to kick and spin attack! Beautiful creation Thoy, stunning work!

Quoting Cody G Nice work, I really like the water and the gold trim on all the buildings. The only thing I would recommend is some 1x1 square tiles on part of your cobblestone path. Using only round studs looks a bit uniform for something like stone.
Yes I agree about the path texturing, however 1x1s are a piece i'm lacking in. I have a few more 2x1s to utilise in the house competition build. Thanks for the comment Cody!

Quoting Tom Simon Well, first of all, thanks for getting this done in time for the holidays, cause it's a gift for all of us. I can't remember now what reservations I might have had for the WIPs, but I have none now. The repeated color motif of the tower and bridge, the lush vegetation, the stone cobbled path, the sloping of the land, the details filling every space, it all adds up to a treat. Thanks for sharing.
To be honest I'm glad its out of the way, been sitting there at 90% complete and it had become an annoyance, perhaps the rushed photography and poor lighting have helped it not rate so high. But you know your comments are an encouragement. Cheers Tom!
