A 6-Wide Van...not at all inspired by real-life cars.
About this creation
You come in dis way.
You go out dat way.
Opens up for machine gun action!
Siggy shootin' 'em up.
I like the doors. They don't open well (no door that is made of bricks and has walls on either side ever opens well because of the shape of the ends-square).
MOCpages' "signature" cop jumps onto the roof to shoot get the bad guys and save the girl. I had an old gun design and I completely forgot it, so here's a new one.
There's another gangster at the end, with another custom gun.
The girl just HAS to scream...isn't she already the center of attention?
The side. I'm started with the gun flaps, added the wood-brick pattern, and then the doors. They are (barely) based off of those from the Emerald Knight, but because I have a brick next to the door it won't open correctly. I COULD fix that, I guess I will later.
The front took a lot less work than it usually does (normally I'm clueless about the front).
The roof is simple, with little detail. I left the studs there both so that I could put Minifigures on and because I simply thought it looked a bit better.
There's some dark brown tiles in there to represent a nicer area, because I felt like it, and because I couldn't find all of my black 1x4s tiles.
The back is simple, but it's hard to put anything in 6-wide car without everything seeming even more cramped.
The Gangsters are driving down the street! Suddenly they stop. The doors and gun flaps swing open, and gunshots can be heard everywhere! And there comes the police to the rescue! Somehow he gets to the car without getting shot and takes out the two gansters on the roof, proceeding to jump off-and take a shot to the head which knocks him out. And they drive away, regardless of the dead trash on their roof.
Design Notes: This one was originally going to be a contest entry, but I transformed it into a van. I really like this, although it's odd.
