During my life, I have spent more time in shady public campgrounds then I would prefer. This scene is inspired by a motorhome we once passed in the early morning, where the lot and table was littered in beer bottles and open coolers. I could only imagine what kind of people lay sleeping inside, and the story they had to tell.
Playin' a round of Rummy to pass the time.
Bluesin' it up with a harmonica. That is the is the sprue that connects two knifes when they come out of a Lego kit.
Check out that Squirrel! Squirrels are the menace of all camping advenures. They will raid your food stashes for everything you got, from bread to marshmellows. Feeding them is probably the worst thing you can do.
The camper is a modified version of Lego's 7639 Camper. Since I've never seen a camper with lime green highlights, I figured a bit of a renovation with more earthy tones would be appropriate.
I remixed the interior too. Added a new bed and clock, visible on this side.
Here you can see the freezer/stove, and top bunk.
Stick on some wings and we have the Winnebago from Spaceballs.
My Southerners, make up your own names for them like Moses Reddcliff and 'Liza Jane Mulhardt.
Wow! Great color choices. They all match the setting perfectly, I also have purchased this set and you have truly made it even better! I also Go out camping and this is so reminiscent to me. This may of had made my day! :)
