This fictive NATO-Russian joint operations APC is the first vehicle produced by cooperating factories from east and west- mainly Kurganmashzavod and General Dynamics Land Systems. Fennec's main armament is Bofors 40mm autocannon which is placed in remote controlled turret. Turret is also equipped with day/night sensors and targeting systems. Armor thickness is classified but it is known that it is aluminium/ceramic composit. Additionaly vehicle is equipped with russian Arena 2 APS which is able to engage any threat approaching the APC between velocities of 70m/s and 900m/s and can detect false targets, such as outgoing projectiles, birds and small caliber bullets. Diesel engine is located in front part of vehicle so it also acts as another protection for the crew in case of penetration of frontal armor. Maxim speed is 100km/h on road and 10km/h in water.
