Les Paul Standard
About this creation
More complex than it looks. Getting the details right (or as close as I could) was a big challenge.

Some have expressed concern as to whether or not the back was clean, so I snapped a pic.

I'm Aaron, and I am a big fan of your Halo builds. I made a shout out to you in my show (you should check it out) and I hope to make your sigfig soon. Anyways, keep up the great work!

Quoting William Meng Wow! What's the cable made out of?
It's just a piece of 3mm hose.
Quoting Sushi Rice Spot. On! Although I have to say I prefer the sunburst... Let's see you try that! :D
Quoting Dave Sterling Now I wanna see you do the Cherry Sunburst color. ;-)
Yeah, I think I would need to work at a little bit bigger scale for that one…;-) Thanks for the comments everyone! As far as instructions are concerned, I’m afraid I have to decline. It’s hard to find the time to simply build, let alone make instructions. Not to mention the fact that this particular MOC would be a HUGE pain to do it for…

Well, that beats my Les Paul Flatship by a mile! This looks like it's far bigger than it is, but realizing how accurate it is compared to the actual tiny size blows me away.
  December 9, 2010
You were already my favorite Lego engineer Sir, but considering the Les Paul is my favorite guitar on earth, you are leagues above the rest in my book. Thank you for being such an insperation and God bless.

A great build with great photography, both of which are usual for your builds. What's unusual is the subject matter... rather than a big, stompalicious mech or scary Csek it's a mostly harmless guitar. It looks like a bit of a gamble, but there can be no doubt that you won. Sweet build, it looks a lot like a real guitar.
