Sometimes I just can't help it . . .
About this creation

Geoffrey, the royal chef, felt Wonk, one of the new kitchen boys, was doing a bang-up job turning the spit and preventing the king's turkey from burning on the fire.

However, he wasn't quite convinced yet that Futsutsuka was going to work out as a meat cutter . . .

While salvaging the remains of the Drunken Hog (thanks, you stupid cat!) I decided to build a little kitchen setup for a possible holiday MOC. Then I got this collectible minifig and, well, I had to do it. After all, I AM old enough to remember seeing the great John Belushi in the "Samurai Delicatessen" skit when it originally aired.

Okay, I'm also a little proud that I figured out a way to get the turkey on a spit over hot coals. I may have to get another one of the pigs and do a little modifying to Porky. Why doesn't Lego give us castleheads some ready to roast meat?
Full disclosure: I almost put Blockocop on the fire, just to tease you. Instead, here's a preview of a villianous throne room . . . .

By the way, Glomshire Knights fans, my first (and probably last) Christmas storyline is about to be unleashed. The strip will run daily December 13-25 on our homepage, which you can find by clicking on the fancy clicky thingy I'm putting right here.

How about a Bill Murray fig working at the griddle? Cheeseburger cheeseburger cheeseburger! Pepsi, no Coke. I'm old, too. Nicely built! |

The concept was funny on its own, but even more so after seeing the snl link. Nice turkey connection (I never figured I'd use that word combo) and the evil throne room looks great as well! |

This is great! I don't know the skit (and Dave's link is a video stream only available in the United States) but I'm sure if I google it I'll find a u-tube clip. But the build is sweet, and that throne room teaser is very exciting! |
