"Hoo, Hoom. Don't be hasty now!" This is undoubtedly one of my all-time favorite Tolkien characters. As much as I love Peter Jackson's movie interpretation of him texture wise, structurally, I have problems with it. This figure is based of a clay figure I made before I saw The Two Towers movie. This creation is based purely on the figure and is untainted by movie influences. Please note that this is 2x minifig scale. The average man would reach up to about 3/4 up to his knees.

Very cool! I recently read the first two LOTR books but haven't gottton to the third. You should read the Rangers Apprentice series by John Flanagan. I've reread some of them a million times!
I have heard those are good. Ian Spacek and I are actually scoring a movie of it that our friend is making.
