One of the many outposts on Mars. Created: 5/28/09

About this creation

This is a Mars Mission Railway station, used to transport equipment and weapons across the surface of Mars. So imagine that the track extends outward (not in an oval) to other facilities similar to this. Also pretend it travels across the red (not grey) surface of Mars. Got that?

The engine is my favorite part, my only gripe is that I should have made the front smoother.

The cockpit for the train engine.

The rear of the engine houses two plasma reactors.

The first car is a mobile lab.

The inside of the lab features an imprisoned alien

Now for a little round of Mars Mission vs. Life on Mars. (I would have made a Life on Mars station, but I didn't have the right parts)

Let�s see the Mars Mission alien try to free himself now, oh wait, he can't move his arms. Too bad. Life on Mars wins!!!

The crew of this station, strangely, one was lost in the transport of the station shortly after these pictures.

I absolutly love this thing. I am a big Mars Mission fan and this is just another thing to help keep the dream alive. *In the Mars Mission alien's defence, he is captured, he isn't meant to escape.

Nice work! I like the attention you paid to detail, the train looks solid and well built. The station its self is simultaneously good-looking and (from what I can tell) fun to play with. Combining both those is a difficult talent, and I see that you have it! This looks like it could be a LEGO set, in fact, I wish it was, 'cause I'd buy it! Keep it up!

This seems like a more updated version from the old space monrail. The design makes it look almost exactly like spaceship molded into a train. The portable lab seems small inside but, it is train. I'm amazed there isn't more xomments and likes.

Awesome! Way better than my Mars Mission stuff. The only little issue I have is that considering the conditions and terrain on Mars I'm not sure how well a railroad and forklift would work. Whatever! 5/5!
