About this creation
I really can't live without building a Mustang in a while... :P
Hi! This is my new car: a 1967 Ford shelby Mustang GT500. I wanted to build this car in 10-wide a while ago, but I was too busy with other stuff. Anyway, I'm proud of it and I think I did fairly well. It got opening doors and a opening hood, but no opening trunk. The reason why I build Mustangs so much is that they are just addictive and I like them very much. Hope you like it and Comments are appreciated.
Ooh, look opening hood! See, I wasn't lying! Engine looks pretty boring but I couldn't fit much because of the small space under the hood.
And opening doors! :D But no opening trunk :(
C U later! You will never guess what my next car is gonna be! :P If you do guess what it is, then you are a genious. :P OH, did you know I made a smaller one before? Check it out! http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/196237

Beautiful.
Very Beautiful.
Too bad she's a 66 fastback, not a 67 Fastback.
:-)
She's still a shelby, and a GT 500, but she's no 67 Mustang, she's clearly a 66 Mustang.
*ref: 67/68 Mustang "sports roof" came to the rear of the car, the boot "hatch-back" lid being part of the slope.*
Yours has a flat boot and 66 tail-lights.
Just change that 7 to a 6 and she'd be right in every way.
Very cool Mustang though.
yeah, you're right. I couldn't make that slope longer. I wouldn't change the 7 to a 6 because I don't think they had a GT500 in 1966. Anyways, Thanks for the comment! |

Fantastic model! I saw the thumb and I thought it was a large-scale model, so detailed. But now I see it's 'only' 10 studs wide.....good job. |

This is the best Mustang I have seen at this scale! You made it accurate, and detailed it well, especially with the opening functions. I'm going to try a Mustang soon. Well done and keep it up! |

Nicely done! It's not as good as some of the others I've seen, but it's one of the best creations I've seen done in that scale - and congrats on the amount of detail you've managed to put on it! And BTW, I've looked at some of your other mustangs - you have a lot! You must really like mustangs! And I can see you reuse your pieces; (you don't keep your creations, right?) the variety of cars you make (other than mustangs) is just amazing! Anyways, Nice job, and keep it up! <Komioh Ransack> |

Great work as usual, but I thought the GT500 had two stripes - not that one less makes any diference :P I'm guessing your next car will be a Sesto.
Yup, the GT500 definately has two stripes but I can't fit two (that aren't skinny) on a ten wide. |
