The planet is Reach, the year is 2552, master sergeant Cortez and his team are heading to secure a covenant controlled outpost in the mountains however as they close in on the outpost their falcon is shot down by a wraith mortar..... and so our story begins

About this creation

Pilot: We’re nearing the drop zone sir.
Cortez: Roger that.
Pilot: Wait- is that a- oh god no! Incoming plasma mortar brace yourselves!

BOOM!
Pilot: I can’t hold on much longer….. agghhhh!!! Kilo foxtrot 9 we’re going down!

SMASH!!!
Cortez: Uh…is…anyone…still-alive?....

(Gets up and walks to soldier)

I’m so sorry (closes dead soldiers eyes)

Right first I need to find where in the hell I am
(swings back-pack on)

(Picks up gun)

Hm just my luck still got some ammo in it!

(Turns around) wait is this what I think it is?
A comms array! (pulls lever and starts to talk)
Anyone-anyone please respond this is master sergeant Cortez of the
105th ODST battalion please respond!

(Not so far away in an abandoned house)
Kat: Sir! I’ve got a friendly signal, an ODST 5 miles away requesting retrieval.

Carter: (holding the headset) this is sierra 259; hold tight we’re coming to get you.
