Alternate of Designer Set 4888 Ocean Odyssey. I'm not really into building spaceships, but this set is excellent for me to create something beyond the usual. Apparently it belongs to the category Vic Vipers, which I didn't hear of before.
About this creation
A highly modified Ariel spacecraft which was originally designed for Service and Rescue operations at intergalactic territory. The design comes from Ocean Odyssey, a company that used to produce submarines and the like.
After the water on earth became so toxic, the company was forced to change direction in 2138 to avoid bankruptcy. Because of their vast experience in aerodymanics, special coatings and water/air tight solutions, it was only a natural step to move towards spacecrafts, also considering that earth had a big exodus from man kind to find water in other galaxy systems.
People became increasingly aware of the quality and multifunctionality of the Odyssey Ariel, which made it one of the most popular and versatile vehicles in the 22nd century.

It's outstandig what you achieve with only one set. This spaceship looks perfect. Every bricks is where it as to be. I especially love the trusters. I'm a fan of your work. It's fun to see cool MOC build with a limited number of bricks. Keep on brickin'. |

Great shape and excellent use of parts.
It's a model that could have been part of the original set, as an alternate build. |

All right Nathanael, looks like you found some time lately for messing around with LEGO! This model looks great. I always like your presentation and the extra effort that you often go to in working up a storyline to go with the model. |
