Infectuous: Ay, Mr. Amtrox! I found this one running away from base. He would cooperate when i questioned him to i had to temporarily paralys him, sorry!
Emgi, Lightningrod, did you?
Aluminator: YOU SNIVELING SLIM, YOU SHOULD BE HANGED!
Voltac: I'M GONNA KICK YOUR A-
Amtrox: ENOUGH!
Amtrox: Lightningrod, did you do it.
Lightningrod: hmm-
Amtrox: Answer me! DID you do it.
Lightningrod: I-i couldn't stand Poof revealing my past to you guys, I'm not a skaktii warlord anymore and I don't serve Jetflame. I knew Poof was going to tell you, but i couldn't stand the idea of you all knowing, so knocked out Viacom and shot at him.
Amtrox.............you worked for Jetflame? Why did you not tell us. You not only lied to us, but you attempted to kill Poof to save you skin. I can't stand for it.
(Amtrox pulls out one of his arm blades, and goes for the windup. His arm moves like Lightning. Emgi screams)
Amtrox: I am sorry Lightningrod-
-but you disobied me and tried to kill one of our own, just out of selfishness. Therefore-
-you don't even deserve an execution. Infectuous, give him his sword: he's gonna need it where he's going.
(shamed, Lightningrod walks away. He turns back to look at Emgi, one last time before he is cast out into the wilderness. But she doesn't even look at him, she just sobs into her amrs.)
Voltac: You've caused enough damage, just leave!
(Lightningrod felt defeated inside. Amtrox, his once great friend, took away from him soemthing more important to him than life: his honor, which he had begged Artahka to make him a toa so he could keep after the horrible things he did to the destinites with Jetflame. He would never see Amtrox, Emgi, or any of them agian. And if they did, they would just look away. He was an outcast, nowhere to go.)
(no one to go to. He had lost all of his friends, even his love. They left a hole that could never be refilled.)

Sherah: So, they finally found you out, didn't they?
Lightningrod: Shut up.
Sherah: They finally realized that you weren't one of them, that your just more 'scum'. Like me.
Lightningrod: Shut up.
Sherah: But since were both scum, we should stick together. Jetflame still misses his old partner in crime. You could come back.
Lightningrod: Why, hasn't he done enough to me?
Sherah: No, Lightningrod. He isn't finished with you yet, and i know you aren't finished with him yet. But where are you to go? What to ya say, gonna come back with us.
(a long pause. it lasted only a fraction of a second, but is felt like a thousand years)
Lightningrod: Yes.

Fourth Wall Commentary:
This is basically a milestone in the storyline, the next chapter will take place after this(dah) but like a season two kindof spin. It won't focus as much on how everything gets set up, it will start to have new characters and more battles, thus the war. The contest was fun to do and surprisinly, a lot of you were right. Lightningrod was the top voted suspect. So, to those of you who won, you will recieve you prizes that i listed above shortly.

well, lightningrod was once jetflame's partner in crime. after they had nearly destroyed the destinites and attacked the toa colonists, lightningrod decided go to artahka and become a toa. but since he didn't want amtrox and the others to know of his past, he tried to kill poof. now, he is back working with jetflame. more will be summed up in the next chapter and when i upgrade lightningrod. |

It was Lightningrod? Darn, Twister seemed like a better suspect, but I guess I wasn't thinking right. XD And if I were Lightningrod, I would have run in and yelled "Who wants free cupcakes?" rather than shoot Poof. XD Awesome job man! |
