another step forward!...75% done,i would like to thank my girlfriend s support for this,as it would not have been possible without her!
About this creation
this is for my friend tk!
without the blower!
with a different hood height!
i chose to display this white car as a tribute to the variations,
that tk made on the theme!
good work tk!
here is the original city plan,
last time i displayed my layout,i was short on time,
and i messed up my locations, the farm should never have been next to the hotel!
but,it does nt matter, since i changed a few things that didnt work,
the trains for instance, were longer than i expected,
so i had to add a service track to remove one from the main tracks.
other than that,i added some small details, like the tree sale stand,or the iced pond!
about the centers...
well,i still work on them,i keep on adding details, but, mostly,it s because i lack the parts for a convincing appartment interior x4!
i also have special plans for them for the races,
as i want to use their roofs for stands to watch the races!
some exteriors details are nt right, but,
i ll fix it before i expose them as finished!
i just love this pic!
the backyards aren t finished, but,it looks much better now!
gone is the black wall,he,he,he!
now,lets see the buisnesses!
first,the hardware store,
note that all buisnesses are operated by couples,
i took cheap pics, because it s not their official unveiling!
there will be plenty of new stuff when i do,trust me!
the public transport was pretty handy for those letter racks!
but,we see them on the overview though,
the sport shop!
i used technics parts for the racks!
i promised my girlfriend i d match the green grocer,
and i keep my promises!
an overview of the whole block![pun intended]
i changed the door system of the back store acces,
sliding doors are much better!
it looks more industrial!
christmas arrived early this year for manoxylo,as i got insecure about her gift!
so i bought it early,it s the harry potter castle!
she mixes it with her creator family house,in hopes to have a decent manor!
she had it for 2 weeks now,so don t hold your breath!
some parts of this kit are superb!,the stairs for instance!
the whole castle as a building,is of course open ended!
one thing i d like to mention though,
we were pretty disapointed to see that there were no glass in the windows provided!
i hope we give it another shot this week end!
ok,now,the bus stands!
once again the public transport was very useful here!
but,i also used parts of the train station, the stickers.
but,we don t see them from here sorry!
i converted the buses of the public trans,to fit my city department color coding,
got 2 semis for the futur toy store,1 lego,1 toys r us,
1 yellow for grain transport,
1 for animal transport.
2 more semis to do!
i ll do them whenever i get the time,or inspiration,
i don t always feel like doing what i should!
timing is everything!
as i got 2 beach houses at toys r us for 5$ each!
i bought a total of 10 beach houses for the city,
but, used only the strict minimum of yellow bricks all along,
i also kept and rotated their big white windows as well!
now,this will pay up.
as i intent on doing 5 levels for the hotel.
2-court room,where justice is done!
3-rooms for rent
4-rooms for rent
the roof-tv station,monitoring the races,helicopter,landing pad
there will be grey arches,of course,i just don t use them at first.
the kingdoms castles will be spent here!
i kept the elevators simple in all the city,
i will surely come back at them one day!
this one,will do 5 levels!
i have enough arches for all windows on the first level
inside,we have the reception desk,
a statue,the cuisine,a salle a manger[resto]
and a living room with music!
i will push the design further with the help of hans s most excellent concept cuisine!
something has to be said about high open spaces!
a better view on the livingroom section!
and the fireplace!
again ,the castles will help here!
now, these are the sections of the second level of the station,
i made them modular for transport reasons,
[i have to move them all the time!]
it s in my plans to add the bakery and toy store,
to this ridiculously small farce of a store,
+brown bricks i ve been saving!
i joined both stores together temporairly,
i customized the figs,
with the santas they freely gave me for the buy,
and i have 2 perfect looking toys r us employees!
[i will show them, at a later date!]
the 2 sections of the station, again modular.
now,with the train,and crossroads
notice how traffic is blocked,
while the train stops at the station!
this was nt intentional, but,i ll live with it!
i just love this view!
have you noticed the bike racks?,
i kept them there for a reminder to use them.
an overview of the station
with it s entire fleet!
with the 2nd level
with the hotel
and the bank
we haven t named the streets yet,
so this might be called crime alley![batman]
there is a lot of action possible here!
i ll use it for sure!
i m considering using the pillars as walkways,
i m not sure,i ll see
what a view hein?
of course this needs a lot of work, but,
it will look real good when finished,
expect a lot of windows for the station!
i will adjust the levels,
and the elevator will reach the hotel s terrasse
as for the road train, don t despair,i already have the tractor,
and the recycling truck is also in my mind,
it s just hard to find a good container emplacement, and system.
i ll make it since i needed the centers,
and hotel finished,to evaluate all possibilities!
now,about the group,
Cybercity needs help...
for ecological ideas,concepts,and solutions,
you can report here ,as i check my comments often,
i will base the group applications on the work done!
IF POSSIBLE,...please stay within the city color code ,[orange recycling, green city service]

First and foremost, THANK YOU for not only stopping by my mocpages, but for your commenting on all 22! That took time and effort!
BUT your time and effort is who you are!
one only has to look at this work to see it!
I was especially fond of the note book and the Cybercity Plan! It shows a great thought process. BRAVO!
I was fond of the first houses whose back yards face one another! It's how we live/d here in NYC especially in Brooklyn where I come from.
I am very positively jealous of the space you have to display your work!
I will try to get pictures of how I laid out streets on top of my bookcase, at first my only place to exhibit my work for you.
When I get some spare change I will be using plates instead of baseplates for my buildings and use two so my baseplates can become the links between two buildings - the street!
I now use my available shelves in my bedroom for display!
I will get colored oaktag to use as a backdrop for my stuff.
Once I find your Santa I'll give you some toy ideas.
Thank you Mr. Montreal (one of my favorite cities in the world - give me Place Ville Ste. Marie any day!)Nick
WOW! Firstly thanks for your comments on my little post office moc but now seeing what you have done,I'm not worthy! Such time and devotion dedicated to your mocs, I didn't realized so much planning was needed. Truly inspiring!

why is there a toy shop on the stations roof?
well, it [the city project] all started because i wanted a train under a christmas tree when i was very young, so i wanted a building done especially for this event, lego released the toy shop and bakery, that have a very christmas feeling to it, and toys r us released a semi with store, i just associated all pieces together to come to this, i could have done a bakery, but, it would have been less colorful, i also had a distinctive chance to have fun with a santa fig, and i intent on using it!
thanks for your comments!

it s about designing an ecological sorting system for the city, i m making a special ecolo-futuristic group for real imaginative persons like you, or any of all fine and bright lego creators, if possible, respect the city color coding, if not, accepted also.
i m rebuilding the recycling combo soon.
a prize will be given and you ll be credited and honored!
Very nice update! I especially like the transport center. About your challenge, I am very intrigued, as you were quite vague about the whole thing in your comment. So just what is this challenge about?

thanks hans, for your most precious and experienced advise!,first,no,there will be no court house,as i have this heavy tendency for massive buildings,2 ok,then i have to see it like this;8 customers for the dining room,12 for the terrasse, and maybe 10 for the rooms, mmm,a kitchen for 30 customers max,in rush hour!,i ll see then.
thanks again hans!
Wow, that is one massive project! As for advice, I first have to ask, why do you want a courtroom in your hotel, does your town not have a courthouse? Your kitchen, if this is a hotel, really should have an entire floor dedicated to it, as it requires a lot of space to prepare food for an entire hotel! What you have would work perfect as a coffee and pastry shop perhaps. You want a couple stoves, ovens, a dishwasher and maybe a big soup kettle or two. Depending on how crazy you wanted to get, you could have an entire floor for the kitchen and one for seating! Many hotels have this layout to cater to large groups. It depends on how much you want to invest your time and bricks into it.~H

we share the same though on it andreas, ironic is the perfect word, but, you,of all people understand the importance of making the train a nice lenght from the start,to make sure you won t be ridiculous on the long term, with a train too short!,we still hope for a house!,my girlfriend still studies so,well see then.thanks for visiting andreas!
Really amazing! Though it's a bit ironic that now that your train has a decent length (as opposed to the official sets that are always too short) it blocks the streets. But I guess the inhabitants can live with it. :)

i hope i bring something refreshing, for all the space i take on the pages.
Quoting Thomas Evans
thanks thomas!,i am sarcastic, but i try to keep it on my stuff,i ll have to order glassed parts from lego, and i don t like it,is that what you were refering to?
it will be as big as planned, until we get a house.
That looks so cool cyberfrank! All the thought and detailing is fantastic. The tranist centre is awesome - an elevator!! I am very impressed with your alleyways. This city will be Lego perfection when you are done!
