Land Rover
model of a Land Rover (Series 2) - like they were built in the 1960s (the current successor is called Defender)
About this creation
A Landy Series II. Actually, I planned to do this in MiniFig scale, but it turned out to be a little bigger, unfortunately.
Also I had to modify two or three bricks with the knife to build the model. The Lego Digital Designer didn't provide the right bricks there, so I decided to get rough on the bricks instead of spending money for a complete other set just to get a certain brick.

There is a couple of more photos on
www.zebra-crossing.de if you care.

Quoting Stephen Sherman Very accurate and detailed. I like the spare tire on the hood.
Thanks a lot. Yeah, I also love the tire on the hood in the original. It just makes the Landy so unique. We made sure our real life Land Rover Defender also had one on the hood :-)

Ah, ok. I just went there, and after some technical starting difficulties posted the photos there, too. Thanks for the invitation :-)
