my first attempt at an AEGAKS. It took me 3 days to build, this sucked up all my mech parts, and I think it turned out pretty good. When I saw the pilot block and how it just was pulled off and put back on the mech with no ejection system like a button or anything I decided to try to make one like that.
About this creation
This special yellow mech is designed for special hit and run missions.
Designed to travel into the toxic gases under the mountains. It has special feet so it can climb robot mountains and sabotage them out of nowhere then just jump back into the fog. It is equipped with a KO-E hand to disable enemy mechs using an electric pulse, an energy dagger to block laser rays and cut enemy machines, 4 S-jets and 2 M-props for soft landings and mountain jump\climbing, and also an ejection ability designed to launch the pilot block out into the toxic gas.

As this picture depicts the mech is incredibly unstable.

Like the shoulders? And the legs?

So any suggestions on what I should improve on besides balance?

If you move the cockpit foreward, having the tip and about 3-4 studs over the front, it should counterbalance this problem.

Quoting L C It's a nice model :) Sadly, I'm still not satisfied in how "discovered" is the waist and the stability problems you mentioned earlier. Work on that, ok? :)
Ya this is like the SECOND mech I've ever built this way and my first was horrible. I'm makin' another simple one, after that I suppose I'll work on a creative and new torso design and I'm gonna try to put more stability in my mechs at least enough to pose it.

I liked it, the colors are great, the same from Supernova Lego official model. As an AEGAKS builder and enthusiast, I know the very common stability issues that these models present. Here's a hint: if you want to make a big torso, try to use less hinges in the lower part, it means that compound legs are terrible for big AEGAKS. Or, try to shrink the torso, specially the shoulders width. Another good tip is to maintain the gravity center aligned. I hope this help.

Quoting Jason Dominguez A very interesting build to say the least. I had been toying around with the idea of making a model used in the toxic "ocean", but I hadn't got around to it. As for improvement, why dont you try to make the torso more compact, perhaps with the waist tucked further under the pilot block? And please don't forget to give credit. Thank you.
Ah...I see what you mean. But right behind the waist is the ejection harness and I can't obstruct that if I want the eject to work. OK I'll try to remember to give you credit next time.

Awesome!!!!! this is very, very, very impressive. I think it's the best mech you've made out of lego (what I mean is that you always make a nice creation out of bionicle things... if you see what I mean....)

Shrinking the torso would improve the stability. I like how the feet look but making them longer at the heel would help improve stability too.
