The best use I've thought of yet for my hardsuits. Added as a seperate creation in a shameless publicity stunt. Enjoy!
About this creation
First off, props to Shannon Ocean for his Spastle theme. These probably aren't quite what anyone had in mind for the theme, but they are a mix of space and castle, something he came up with.

Overall view. The ony thing new here is the gold knight. The silver knight is the first version of my W Mk2 Hardsuit, and the dragon is from one of the last Adventurers sets.

Alternate main picture, with the focus on the dragon, not the knight. Ditched because the knight is my own creation and the dragon isn't.

Here they are; our brave golden knight and his sidekick (page? squire? companion?). Oh, and that nasty dragon beastie.

Ah! The face of the golden knight unveiled, and it's flesh-colored! Selected entirely because it had that golden comm clip. Seriously.

It's still a little off though. Even Obi-Wan shouldn't be smiling as he fights a dragon. I feel like I'm deficient in the grimacing LEGO® head department (because I am).

This is the W Mk2 Hardsuit from a previous creation (link in the first paragraph, in case you missed it). Nothing new here. Just thrown in to add to the scene.

Parting shot of the fight scene. Perhaps I'll make the flame look like it's hitting the shield and getting deflected at some later point.

Well, our knight's friends have all run away, leaving him here alone. It's a nice pose, no?

Not much new as to the design. Different arms, attached differently, and the other changes are all superficial changes in appearence. It's my Mk 2 hardsuit in different colors.

The gold elements are from various space sets (helmet, breastplate, vent), a Space Police III set (legs), and two adventurers sets (sword and shield). Note my head and camera in the siny breastplate, which has miraculously escaped serious scratching and fading.

More posing...

More posing...

Still more posing, along with my camera and my hand.

Here's the closing shot. I discovered early on that flipping the visor on the helmet down made the suit look completely futuristic with no trace of castle. Adding a gun makes this look more obvious.
EDIT Novemember 14, 2010: I made it onto the homepage for the second time in a row. I extend my thanks to those who made it possible.

WOW! This Moc just rocks! I really like that 20's car you did a while back also, mate, you've just been favorited!
It's an honor to be so highly held. Thanks, to see more hardsuits you should see angryraccoon's stuff, and Dan the Man has great 20's and 30's cars.

I´m glad you understand. And hey, that doesn´t mean we can´t enjoy each other MOCs.
Nope. I'm looking forward to your next build, all three builds for the contest were remarkable. |

Very nice armor; I like it when people use small parts in a clever way. The first pic is well chosen. There´s one other thing. You´ve been so kind to invite me to the purist group. Thank you for that, but I´m afraid I have to refuse your friendly offer, since I probably would have a bad influence on the other members.

Thank you for that, but I´m afraid I have to refuse your friendly offer, since I probably would have a bad influence on the other members. Look at the chrome bricks and Jack Nicholson´s hair in my Shining MOC for example. Or the Doctor Who coat. And yesterday I recieved an order from brickarms. I like certain small modifications, if they really add to the MOC and if it doesn´t get out of hand. Less is often more. |

Nice use of those chrome elements, some of which I didn't know existed (presuming they're all Lego?). That dragon head!
