UK Traffic Police Car
Here is a Volvo V70 estate car in UK traffic police livery.
About this creation
My Lego version of a UK traffic police Volvo V70. This is a common sight on Britain's motorways and usually unwanted if you happen to spot one very close in your rear view mirror.
This one is 5 studs wide, fits 2 minifigs and has a few traffic police accessories.

Some bits to help the copper with his duties. A stop board, loud hailer, traffic cones and a warning triangle.

Room in the back for an offender. This guy has been caught speeding in his sports car. His car has been detained and he's off to the cop shop for a severe telling off.

My UK emergency services so far.

Quoting arne vansteenkiste This just looks stunning. I'm very tempted to try and build some of my own. On that front there is a little drawback however: I can't seem to fathom how to get the wheels centered on a 5-wide. Any good advise or maybe some underside picture of this thing of beauty? thx.
You have to use a wide axle plate and fix it to the chassis using two 1x2 jumper/offset plates. That should do the trick.

Quoting James Keatley this is excellent, so well done, the decal on the front is great. i'd love to build some like this if you don't mind, my police need some decent brit traffic units.
Go for it, Mate. Post them on here, I'd be interested to see your versions.

The fire engine is work in progress. Just waiting for some goodies to turn up from good old Bricklink. It will make it's presence known on MOCpages very soon.

Very good rendition, I see a lot of these frequently patrolling around. Actually it's a different type around here... Now we need a big mean red machine to go with the collection. I reckon the Fire Engine will be my favourite.

Andy, this is the best representation of a UK police car that I've seen. You got the yellow/blue striping perfect. You can even cram in a few nice accessories! I guess our "station wagon" is an estate in the UK? I like estate better. Regards, your friend, Eric.

Definitely thinking about it. It will probably be a UK spec Mercedes or Volvo appliance but I'm still working out how to do the front correctly in a 7 wide. I might just do it in 8 wide, not sure.
