Ever since I saw Ben the Lego Builders and ACpin's I wanted to build my own version. I did base parts of it off both of them so credit goes to the both of them, Cheers guys!
I tried to keep the diorama simple so thats why its so basic. Anyway enough of me talking here it is!
About this creation
An overview of the entire diorama, a lot of the black floor pieces are from the collectable minifigures.
A closer look at the droids side of the battle
The clones side of the battle, credit to the crates goes to Commander Hess
The observation area with a rack for the clones helmets
A control panel, I would have used a Shaak ti minifigure but Lego hasn't made one yet, but I'll probably be getting it next year! (also I just wanted to show off my Nahdar Vebb minifigure :P)
The clones taking control of the tower!
The entire diorama without any minifigures
DON'T FORGET TO RATE AND COMMENT!
Please don't get angry with me in your comments saying things like 'you've got that wrong! that didn't happen in the episode!' because I haven't actually seen the episode I've only seen reference pictures and other Lego builders versions!
It was indeed a good episode! Yeah I agree with you, it's very simple, It's rather old so that's probably why. Anyway, I'm sure I'll redo this diorama one day, so then I'll made it much less simple :D Thanks for the critique
Not too bad. A little on the simple side but it still looks really cool. I like your usage of the collectible minifig baseplates in the moc. This was one, if not the best episode last season. Nice work mate.
Best you've seen? I'm guessing you haven't seen ACpin's then :P Anyway yeah now that I've seen the episode I know what you mean :P Thanks man, if I ever do re-do this dio I'll add those things :) Thanks ;)
Nice job on the cadets, Ben! This is the best version I've seen! Just try to make some turrets, like in the episode, and it'll be great!
Practically no inaccuracies! PS: Try to make a chaingun (rotary blaster) for Heavy... it'll be really cool!
Thanks Robin glad to see your looking forward to Kashyyyk :D Thanks Sam, um, I don't remember how long this took me, but usually a small diorama will take a few hours and a larger one most of the day, but others like Kashyyyk will take me at least a year to do!
This is awesome!!!!! Just to let you know I am commenting on this to ask if you want to join my team (which I will make in an hour or so) for the official star wars mocathalon. If you could that would be great, bro. Btw thanks for being so nice to me in the past.;) It means a lot. IOC you could join that would be great. And since our time is different I'll probably have the team up by the time that you get on. It would be REALLY helpful if you could join. Thanks my friend.;) And this is an EXCELLENT representation of this scene. Even when MOCs were posted a while ago they still need attention. This world seems to lie to much in the future then in the past. Sorry, random I know.
You really didn't get anything wrong, due to the fact that it would be really hard to make it full scale! But I like this allot, great use of mini fig plates! It's cool to see my crate design in someone's vig. ;D
really cool setup, looks a lot like the episode. don't worry, people should know that this isn't an exact diaroma of the episode, so it can't be story perfect. lego should be making a shaak ti figure really soon, shes been the story for quite some time now, even in the force unleashed.
