Just Amazing... I love the cerebros design, you might want to try and do more headmasters sometime... |
|
|
Yeah although it makes it bulkier, worm gear is the way to go if you want to hold certain poses. I'm working on a the hulk right now that will probably have them in the shoulders and possibly the hips. Your might have to go full gear if you ever build a unicron! |

just various ratchet type joints and a great centre of gravity - may upgrade the shoulders to worm gears as there is a lot of stress there!

This is why you are the Legoformers king. What's he built like internally? A worm gear turntable system?

If you can do this, can you build tf armada Megatron and Tidal Wave, with Tidal Wave able to powerlink(I think that's what it's called)with Megatron?

my design is more flexible than the original toy - but still can use a few upgrades when i get a chance!

After watching a review of the original G1 toy, I'd say that this actually looks better.

This is brilliant i have made my own version of this but it is no where near as tall or good
you should try a primus or unicron MOC |

You are my favorite builder.
detail, modeling, and completely transforkable excellent work
I do have a request though
Could you try building Unicrom? |

At one point I had desinged a tranforming spike but in the final model the head looked to big for cerebros so I went with a non transfoming version but there is always a possibility of a version 2.

I own the Toy Fortress Maximus/headmaster from the 1980-1990's toy line and when I saw this creation I thought It was the toy, it looks better then the real thing, if I could I would give you 100 stars for this one.
that said one question. does Cerebros' head also transform into Spike, like the toy or is this based on the Japanese cartoon that does not?

Sithspit, that's just nuts. I don't know my Transformers nearly well enough to say how accurate this is, but honestly it's breathtaking. I can't say I've ever been a big fan of Transformers's basic look and style, but I think I can say that you captured it perfectly. if LEGO ever considers designing Transformers sets, you'll probably be the first designer they come to. :P sadly, I'm afraid MOCpages lacks the ability to rate this thing high enough. |

The headmaster Spike I made was a little too out of proportion so a regular head was used instead on the final version, but there is always V2.LOL!

10/10 for building on such an epic scale
10/10 for including about 80% of all the stuff that came with the original toy (I don't see spike? is your cerebros a head master too?)
9/10 for toy accuracy - the arms look a little small compared to the proportions of the original toy and animation model.
A build to be proud of, certainly one of your most ambitious.

amazing! I only have two criticisms, and one of them, I completely acknowledge to be stupid: his head doesn't turn into a head. I know, you'd need to make him way bigger for that to work, I admit it's stupid...i dunno.
second criticism is actually a related problem, but I can't fault you for it because has/tak have never been able to get it right either: none of the city formers are ever big enough to be considered a city.
all that said, you did what appears to be a better job at making him than has/tak ever did. |
