It's been a good while since my last ones, and though I feel like I made them with my left hand, here they are :)
About this creation
The Heartless Fury haunts those who refuse to aid friends or relatives in need.
As all other furies, they power up by draining the pain and distress of the victims of an Evil Soul, until their power is enough to materialize in our plane.
Once materialized (the black parts are still phased, the silver parts can be touched but are plated, and only the neon parts are vulnerable) they attack the source of the pain and devour the Evil Soul that is their nourishment.
The Heartless Fury materializes in the shadows nearby its prey's home, then springs at it slashing it open in a single swift strike.
The Crunch Fury is attracted by financiary exploitation and speculation. Once the misery of the victims is at the right level, it materializes underground, and digs towards its prey (usually high ranking managers or businessmen), devouring most of the body together with the Evil Soul within.
It has been noted that most Furies do not eat flesh, but those who do mutate faster and more radically, hence eventually losing any humanoid appearence.
Vexis Gamma (Science Fury)
For the last few decades Furies have been under scientists' intent eye, and lastly they succeeded in creating an artificial Fury, to be hired for the protection of vil, powerful men.
Their 3rd attempt was called Vexis Gamma, but having been exposed to evil scientists for most of its artificial life, it developed a taste for their particular kind of Evil Soul.
The moment it was released, it revealed to be a Science Fury, craving the souls of people who use science and knowledge for evil purposes. And oh yes! It has 4 extra arms and a tail.
Well, the may not be my top MOCs, but they were quite relaxing and fun to make :)
You can find more Furies HERE and HERE. Have fun!
Note #1: Vexis Gamma was made as a remake of one of my very first MOCs (indeed the first custom Bionicle I ever made for myself)
This was Vexis Alpha, made in 2005
Note #2: I am utterly uninspired, internet is not working properly (I need to go to an Internet Point to use some sites) and I'm about to move to my new home. Which is reached only by one of the crappest providers available here. Cheers.
Quoting Red-Eyes Rider
Cool! I like the long thing you made out of those creations. It seems to be noticable when everyone is using the same pieces like 10 times and it makes a good moc. Did we ever notice that?
It's called "spam" technique. Many of the coolest MOCs, Bio or System, use it.
Wow! You are an unstoppable building machine, Yuri. Seeing your stuff really makes me wish I had my lego out of storage right now! I love that Crunch Fury. That has to be one of the best centipede-type mecha that I have seen around. In response to your comment on the GX, I would like to make a Double X, and may take a stab at it in the future. It may not be possible at the scale that I build at for some technical reasons (it has to be able to incorporate nearly every gimmick the actual model does or I am not satisfied), but I have some other builds such as the Gundam X Divider that I want to finish up first.
Some great furies, I like how Crunch Fury looks like some sort of centipede or millipede, although the skinny look of the Heartless Fury looks plain yet still cool. They seem to be opposite: One is really well armoured and chunky, the other is skinny and stealthy. :)
Yuri I think these Furies are great. Sometimes we need to build some quickies just for the fun of it. I actually started doing the same thing for myself because I don't have the time to get into a large project either right now. Besides it might inspire the creation of your next big hit! By the way I love the science fury. Being a mad scientist at heart myself now I know what been lurking around my dreams, muhahaha! The centipede styled fury is pretty sweet too.
