Truck 28 is a 2005 Kenworth W900L. The pride of the fleet.

About this creation

My personal haul truck. Built in 2005, the engine has been overhauled or replaced three times. The truck has undergone too many chages over the years to count, with the latest being the addition of float airbags. The grille guard is a custom-built non-Lego part.

This truck was the first in Kontoules Transport Ltd's fleet, and has progressed with the company. Although most of my trucks are 6-wide, with the final three 4-wides just hitting the junkyard, I love this truck too much to ever break it down. This truck has too many memories to count, from hauling the Ice Roads of Canada to the Dalton Highway in Alaska, to everyday hauls across the country and around town. Through the good times and the bad, this truck has stayed with me as a reminder that progress is inevitable and some things never fade away. It proudly bears the KT logo, and the number 28. My luckiest number, for the most special truck I've ever built.
