Talk about building to the last minute! I'm sure Mr Xenomurphy's got this one in the bag with his amazing entry, BUT, I didn't want to go down without a fight! This is my entry for the final round of the Dem Bones Haunted Halloween Contest! This is for the category "Monster Movie Diorama". I went through a ton of ideas before arriving at one of my favorite Tim Burton movies. Like many others, work really constrained my time to work on this. I wanted to add much more detail to the ground of the "set", but I'm happy with how the figures turned out. The horse was by far the hardest build since I've never built a Lego horse before. All in all, I'm very please with this build, but I'd like to know what you all think. As always, please RATE and COMMENT and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I must complement you on your build and idea. However, the presentation was just a little lacking, compared to some of the other entries. I would have liked to see this against a black background to make it a little spookier. 14 points. |

The striking feature of this MOC is the custom-built characters. Everybody's been wowwed by the cape. Include me in that list. The horse, trees, and non-headless dude seems cramped together. Perhaps a bigger base would have allowed the scene to breathe. Score = 14. |

Cool, the figures look awesome as usual, and the horse looks great considering it's your first attempt at building a horse, but if I could tell you any way to improve I think the horse looks a little bit too wide. Very good overall though. :) |
