(Two Steps From Hell - To Glory)

Brolas was originally a matoran of gravity on the island which became Visorak, and was sent to Artakha later on. He was honourable to the three virtues, and an accomplished worker, especially with electrical systems. There, he served Artakha, and is one of the matoran who worked in his palace. Cleaning the kitchens one day, Brolas ended up in a conversation with Atrakha. Artakha detecting good toa traits in Brolas, and told him so. He sent for Reglas, who then was only just appointed as Earthlord after the death of Serpes, and Brolas was turned into one of the Elemental Toa. It was then that he recieved his weapon, the Staff of the Avohkah, and his masks. Their power was cumulative, giving him the strength of a dragon when all three were activated.

The Staff was created in Artakha using an imprizoned Avohkah - living lightning. It harnessed its power and allowed Brolas to unleash bolts of lightning from it. As a toa of copper, his very movements would charge the staff (also feeding the avohkah).

Brolas' first missions were in Metru-Nui, but he ranged far over the matoran universe, assisting matoran and other races, and had a loose alliance with the Order of Mata-Nui (although his main allegiance was to Artakha and Korrothis) He became corroded over time, losing his shiny lustre to blacks and verdigree green. When Teridax took over the matoran universe, he was contacted again by Reglas.

Being one of the few Elemental Toa still in contact with Reglas at this time, he seemed the ideal choice. He was sent into space soon after the Mask of Life was, in order to retrieve it - however, in space his canister was attacked by a beam of energy from Teridax. Inside, he weakened, and his staff was destroyed, but he wasn't killed. When he emerged on the planet he was much smaller and slightly mutated. His masks no longer functioned, either. Malum found him, and robbed him. Atferwards, he limped his way into Vulcanus, and after a long time of healing, began the search for the mask. His form after being attacked by Teridax is the same as his 2009 version.

In a way, Brolas succeeded. Mata-Nui was already rallying the glatorian and agori by the time they met, though. Brolas was restored by Mata-Nui using the mask, and his makeshift sword was transformed into a "Nui Sword", which channeled his powers.

A couple of years later, Spherus Magna was thirving. Tanggri, Gringat's daughter, recruited him into the Knights of Spherus Magna, based in a new settlement named Bazryghan. Brolas was a brave knight in the following wars against the Skrall, Vortixx and Skakdi that followed, but his death came soon after. When the Mask of Life shattered and Mata-Nui died, Brolas wass afflicted with the Soul-Plague like almost all other matoran who had lived within Mata-Nui, and rapidly aged and decayed into death. His son, however, continued on...

POWERS: Brolas could control, absorb and create copper, as well as forcing reactions with nearby elements.
His powers over electricity were almost equal to those of a Toa of Lightning, and he had thermal powers as well.
He could also create a copper nova blast. This produced masses of copper plasma, electricity and harmful radiation.

Okay, long story? I hope so.
Brolas used to be one of my worst MOCs, so... I decided to revisit him. Since that Ben10 set came out with the verdigree coloured bits, I decided to try again. His colour scheme is also far more accurate - the green is copper carbonate, the black copper oxide. Both types of brown represent pure copper, although the actual "copper" colour you know is actually what it looks like while slightly oxidised. The blue bits are crystals of copper sulphate.

He uses only four pieces from SwampFire, oddly. The other verdigree bits come from one of the Vikings sets (the fins), Hagrid's Hut (the plates), and Zaktan (everything else). I do have a green-coloured pelvis and thigh pieces I could have used instead of the black ones, but I felt that would make the verdigree too overpowering. There is also more verdigree on his legs because I figured he'd be more corroded down there if he walked through water or anything.

Also, the foot design? Mine.

And any comments would be appreciated ^^

I love it! I especially like how most of his body is green because it was oxidized. It's like copper found in nature, or the statue of liberty.

Great design and color scheme! I wish I had skills like this when it comes to Bionicle. @Moon Shadow: when copper ages, it starts turning green on the surface (a process called oxidation). Like with the Statue of Liberty. It's (partially?) made of copper. It looks green because it oxidized over the many decades since it was built.

Nice, I like how realistic you are when making these literal elemental toa, the fact that the colour scheme is backed up by science makes the character seem slightly more believable. It also makes for an awesome colour scheme.
