GNT-0000 Gundam 00 Qan[T]
This is the Gundam 00 Qan[T] (pronounced "quanta") from Gundam 00: Awakening of the Trailblazer. It was a surprisingly easy build compared to the Heavyarms, even though it looks a lot more complex.
About this creation
Here are some pics of the completed model. I'll do the pics of the combined sword and rifle and everything else later (it does everything the model can--its just a real time-consumer to move all the joints and parts--so I'll do it later).

Quoting coden primeriddle love the head. mind if i use it for my gundam? i've been looking for an exia style head for a while for my "00 idkba"
No problem, but you may want to consider this guy's head's a bit more--they are based off this one, but are a considerable improvement over mine. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/276622

Quoting leon lara arte you gonna make the full saber of the 00 quan[t]?
That was my original intention, but then I got distracted with other things. I would really like to do the Full Saber upgrade as well.

Quoting leon lara can the shield swivel around to the back on the mg or hg ver.?
It can, but it is a real pain to do so. 00 Qan[T] is a mecha that I've really wanted to come back to and re-engineer a bit to work a bit better than it does. Once I've finished the 00, I'll take what I've learned there and maybe have another go at 00 Qan[T]

Quoting leon lara but, why don't you make 00 gundam or exia?
I'm working on 00 right now, and 00 raiser, and 0 raiser, and 00 Seven Sword and 00 Seven Sword/G and 00 Seven Sword/G Inspection and 00 XN raiser and the XN raiser. Its a pretty big project though, so I beg your patience with it. 00 Gundam is a big challenge, and I've been a bit side tracked with the last two mecha I've made. But 00 is next on my list.

Quoting leon lara wats the difference between the 00 gundam and the 00 quanta cause i still dont get the picture
They are two separate units, that use the same basic system, but in a much different way. The 00 Gundam came first and had two GN drives that were borrowed from two other units: Exia and the 0 Gundam. The twin drive system was really powerful, but was really unstable and had the tendency to burn out a lot. They fixed the problem with the addition of the 0 Raiser, changing the 00 Gundam into the 00 Raiser. During its final battle, the 00 Raiser was critically damaged by the Reborns Gundam. One of its GN Drives was stolen, and installed back on the 0 Gundam, and the other was installed on the Exia Gundam. The two gundams inflicted critical damage on eachother, demolishing both GN drives. Following this, the 00 Raiser was outfitted with two GN condensers where the GN drives used to be, thus becoming the 00 Raiser Condenser Type. It was still a powerful unit, but far less than what it was with the GN drives. Celestial Being travelled to Jupiter to custom build two completely new GN Drives that were perfectly tuned to one another. They were installed on a new unit the 00 Qan[T]. Because the drives were custom made for one another, the 00 Qan[T] did not require the bulky 0 Raiser to stabilize them, and the output was also higher than the 00 Raiser was. The 00 Qan[T]had all the functions that the 00 Raiser had, with the addition of a new system: the Quantum System. When this system was activated, both drives were physcially connected together, thus increasing the GN particle output far beyond what could be achieved by the 00 Raiser. Apart from this difference in the systems, the 00 Raiser and 00 Qan[T] differed in their armament. The 00 Raiser had twin GN Sword IIs that could be a sword or a rifle. It also carried a GN Sword III, which was similar to the Exia's GN sword and could also be converted to rifle mode. In addition to this, the 0 Raiser also carried beam cannons and GN missiles. The 00 Qan[T]'s armaments were much different from the 00 Raiser, though no less effective. It was armed with a GN Sword V, which could also convert to rifle mode. On its shoulder was mounted a GN Shield, which contained a GN beam cannon. Attached to this shield were 6 GN Sword Bits, remote weapons that could act independently of the Gundam. The GN Sword Bits could be used in a variety of ways, and could also be attached to the GN Sword V to form a huge beam sabre, or a massive cannon. Those are the main differences between the two . I hope this helps. If you need more information, I suggest looking here http://gundam.wikia.com/wiki/GN-0000_OO_Gundam and here http://gundam.wikia.com/wiki/00_Qan(T)

Quoting Thomas Z. When I first looked at it I didn't notice all the great accurate details on this great MOC(shame on me xd). I love how you made the chest part and the legs. keep it up! How's your METEOR coming along?
Right now I'm working on the Gundam Double X. After that I've got to do some more action poses of my Gundam X-Divider, and then I'll finish up work on the METEOR. After that I'm going to take a long break.

Quoting leon lara (sigh) just to many parts for me to build...
Hey, thanks for trying! I appreciate the gesture. I'd recommend starting with something simpler, if you are still interested. Why not try a mech from either my Neo-Void or Ancient Remnant Folders? Most of them have instructions and should be fairly easy to build.

Awesome man, I really like the sword. Looks great, especially the body. And yes, I am making the seraphim. I might use a technic frame, because my black pieces are sparse, not to mention I could use the flexability for when it is folded up and attached, but I haven't gotten that far yet, I still have to finish the arms. And I'll make the weapons config. if I have the pieces.

wow a nice rendition of 00Q, you do follow closely the Gundam 00 series, will consider some more from the movie? I'm not familiar with LDD, can it does some more sophisticated posing? Will be good to see that.

I did use a similar frame to the Gundam Heavyarms, but with slight modifications--the body shape is very different. I agree about the arms, though that will probably be the last thing I fix on this. Right now, I am just finishing up the backpack and the weapons.

Quoting Mike Johnson This will be something to see once you can get back to building the old fashioned way. Although I have to admit I didn't realize the legs were so slender. Guess I'll have to go back and recheck the pics. I have no doubt you'll do it justice.
The legs are scrawny on this one. Its a strange gundam model, in that the legs taper down, and don't really flare out at the end like most traditional gundams do.

Quoting Jason Dominguez Very nice build. But proportionally speaking, I think the arms are abit short. I recommend making them a tad longer.
You know something? You're absolutely right! They should be at least one stud longer.
