The first tank battle ever, between a Mark IV (male) and a A7V.

About this creation

During World War One the first tank battle ever took place, a little outside the french village Villers-Bretonneux. the battle was between 3 British Mark IV tanks (1 male and 2 females)and 1 German A7V. This diorama is between the Mark IV male and hte A7V which is supported by German infantry.
The british tank was armed with 2 6-pounder guns and 3 machine guns while the German tank was armed with a 5,7 cm gun and 7 machine guns.
Finaly result the british won the battle.

Wow. Very nice tank replicas. Now,I dont know too much about the tanks of the early 1900's; can I ask why theres a beam of wood on top of the MK IV?

As you probably knows the Western front was very muddy due to the wast artillery bombardments. The wooden beam was used to pull the tank out of the mud. I hope this helped you.
