VL-321 Estorninho
Built for only one thing... SPEED!!!!
About this creation
A new small bomber, designed to achieve its targets at very high speed and high altitude in order to dodge the missiles and enemy fighters.

The development of an escort fighter based on the same plane never came to realize, as it was proved that the high speed of the aircraft was sufficient to dodge the fighters.

Carries a small hydrogen fusion bomb. It can also be used for photographic reconnaissance missions.

Looks a bit like the He 162C, mainly because of the engine mounting. Great job!

Quoting andreus oliver I first thought it was a fighter (and it does look like a fighter)! Why don“t you try to build a fighter version?
Well, I can install supports for missiles in the wings... But internally, the bomb bay is too small for long-range missiles.

The engine mounting was designed to improve the air flow around the wing. It“s good for the flight, but a nightmare for the mechanics...

Quoting El Barto ! I kinda like that cockpit, gives it sort of a Soviet-era feel to the design.
Well, the plane was actually based in a German project... that was never built. Maybe the russians found the project and built one, who knows...

Quoting Jake Savage This is pretty cool, the extreme angle of the wings and tail is awesome, and the engine mounting is very unique! I would suggest one thing though, that you could maybe replace that square cockpit with one of the rounder ones, such as the one from the clone ARC fighter. That way it would look more aerodynamic:)
I didn“t have another cockpit. The cockpits were all used in another MOCs. I will try to get a different picture with the new cockpit, when i can.
