Kraken
An improved version of the "dark demon"
About this creation
This is my new pirate ship, the "kraken". It is my 2nd pirate ship and is the 2nd most heavily armed ship, the first being the HMS Warrior. The ship is armed with 5 cannons, 2 swivel guns and 4 bow chasers. It is built on 5 hull sectons and has a galleon sail plan: the first 2 masts with square sails, and the back mast having a lateen (triangle) sail. It is also my first ship to have an organ.

The bow.

The stern. This is one of my first ships to have sloped windows.

Masts and rigging

The cabin. It is equiped with a bunk, a shelf, a small table and an orgaN

Here is the captain, playing the organ.

Another view of the cabin.

The ship is pretty well and it's really cool. An advice: I think you should try to explore the possibilities of making round surfaces in Lego, because this ship is somewhat "cubic", if I make myself clear. Anyway I like it: it's nice!

Quoting Manthan Dutta Nice ship. One question: Could you tell me how high and how wide the cannon portholes are?
The cannon ports are 2 studs wide and 2 bricks tall.

Quoting morthen poulsen you did fix the (to square) problem, you had on your previously ship, i like the rear of the ship. and the cabin its spacy and nicely decorated. Can you seperate the first deck from the bottom deck ? so you can fire the cannons ? if you cant you shall know its a hard work to do so. but else a nice job if i should say something it would be, the bowspryd is to heavy anckled and sit to far on the nose of the ship. and you should get some decorations between the cannon holes so it dosent get all borring black and flat. but else a nice job
Yes, the bowspryd is a bit too high. That was because of the shortness of the string, an I couldn't be bothered to add a longer piece of string because it takes ages to fit it through the front sail. Also, you can seperate the decks, but it means having to remove all the masts.
