Torin was once a rough-and-tumble plasma matoran living on Xia. He was a long time friend of the Onu-matoran inventor, Ferrum, helping the inventor get what he needed for his creations through force and intimidation. It wasn't uncommon for Ferrum to have to bail him out of jail when one of the matoran he was to intimidate ended up beaten within an inch of their life, usually for no reason at all.
In later years, the draconic Dark Hunter Thel commissioned an all purpose weapon to be built by Ferrum before of his current ended and he returned with his prize for the Shadowed one. And thus, the M12 Peace Maker was born. During the time the weapon was being made, the Plasma matoran and the the Dark Hunter quickly became friends.
After Ferrum went on to earn his fortune on the Isle of Thorns, Torin was left to his own devices, looking for any way to better himself in the eyes of others. When Thel, now a hired gun, came to his shack with a satchel of stolen Toa stones and offering him one in return for joining the Mercenary's team, he saw it as his opportunity to make his own fortune. From there on he was Torin, toa of plasma.
Unfortunately, on one of the missions he was running with Thel, he was captured by the spider like Visorak and mutated into the bestial Hordika. He was rescued by his partner soon after, but had let the animal side run wild before regaining control of himself.
When The Airlord Gringat announced that they were going to colonize new worlds in the flying isle of Korrothis, Torin and the rest of the team tagged along
Present: Torin is heading an assault on the capital of the Hynak Empire with Thel, Zhar, Ferrum, Mezzinus and one other Toa Hordika. The return of Ezru and knowledge of what he did in his climb to power is leading into what may fast become a system-wide war for control of the celestas.
Torin carries a Naginata. He is also armed with a double headed directed energy weapon mounted on to his back and a pair of retractable blades on his left forearm.
Alright and Here's Torin 2.0. I used alot of different techniques, many from Gringat and Yuri.
It took me less than a day to rework him after the first version was posted an all the time in between to get around to posting him. Accursed school always getting in my way.

To my knowledge there are no cannon Plasma toa/matoran. therefore there is no official color scheme and can be any color in the world.
