About this creation
A friend of mine, who is also a LEGO fan, was over visiting one day, when he picked up my fibre optic elements and started messing about.
He had never seen them before, and was just kinda playing with them, when he twisted all the fibres together into a sort of rope.
It caused the coolest visual effect, and I was suddenly inspired to build this podracer.

Great! The fiber optics are excellent, and the engines have great greebs! The only thing I am disappointed with is the back end! |

It might have been a necessity, but the wires wrapped around the connecting cables look awesome! Nice use of parts all around. |

Superb pod-racer! I only recently saw the first episode of Star Wars, and i think the race scene was th best scene or , in fact, the only scene I particularly liked. I don't really like the red on its own, some orange would really add contrast. I also think the cockpit is a bit simple in comparison to the detailed engines, but it achieves a sleek look. Alex. |

This moc is simply awesome! Sweet details and stuff. I like how you concealed those cables around the tubes and the way those fibre optic cables go with the pod. Very original, keep it up Steve! |
