Dem bones Halloween Contest.
About this creation
Here is my pitiful attempt at beating Leda and Phipson in the Dem BOnes Halloween COntest.
I wanted to do something with the collectable minifigs and chose Dracula.
THE STORY
Dracula has kidnapped the Kings Daughter. In haste, the king sent his best men, all of whom are dead. His forces stripped thin, the King sent the last of the men he could spare: A simple archer, and a lone footsoldier. Dracula has hidden the princess away in his tower, which is somewhere on a desolate mountain. The resuers must beware, for dracula has two undead guards and a monster so evil, that its name must never be known....
the Whole tower. It was so tall i had trouble fitting the whole thing in a picture.

The archer. Somehow he threw a grappling hook and is attempting to climb up the tower. I really like how this one turned out.

NOOO!!! the worst beast of all - worse that lawyers! A MIME!!!! The princess is attempting to defend herself with a knife

well folks thats all. Well, my predictions? Leda or Phipson. Best i've seen. ]

Thanks for the comments. I think it looks a lot better in person, but regardless, I wasnt too happy with most of the pictures. Thanks Heath for rating it, and all of you guys for the comments. |

Give the action a little more POP if you will. Originality 4 (nice Mime!), presentation 4 (watch out for those darker pics), and Build is a 4 for a total of 12. Good luck with the other judges.

Haha, true Waffles, better than my tenth too! I wasn't building this good till just last week (I hide my weak builds behind arty photos)... honestly, some of my early works I'm so ashamed of I want to delete them! You've got incredible potential here on MOCpages to pull something like this out with only a second build. |

Like Leda said, don't be so hard on yourself. I mean, this is only your second moc, and this is so much better than my 10th! Trust me, the photography will improve. Now for the moc. I really liked the story line, and the mime addition was great. You have quite a collection there, Mr. Monkey. Great job for a second moc! ~Waff |

Don't condemn yourself and your moc from the very first line of text! If you're going to do that then why even go to the bother of posting it?! This is a very well built vig, I like it very much. The rock work on the base is clever and helps stabilize a tall vig and really gives the eyes something extra to look at. The tower top is very clever in its simplicity. It has lots of nice details and the style is very true to the style of Dracula. Some of the photos are a little dark, but as you say its only your second moc so you will get better at that the more you take and experiment. I think you will be surprised at the good scores you get for this build. |

Note that Im not a photographer, and this is only my second moc, so Im not that great at taking pictures.
