While the Tiger I was feared by many of its opponents, it was over-engineered, expensive and time-consuming to produce. Only 1,347 were built between August 1942 and August 1944. The Tiger was prone to mechanical breakdowns and in 1944, production was phased out in favor of the Tiger II.
About this creation

Front. This was a MAJOR overhaul from my "Original" design.

Left. Probably my favorite WW2 tank i have made to date.

Back. The back is, not perfect, please do not comment about the things wrong with the back, unless you can tell me how to fix it.

Right. Overall, it's a good build.

One of the things i like about it is the flaps on the sides.

To "conserve" the dark bley flat pieces ( A hard to find resource in my collection) i have i put some boxes on the back filled with whatnot, i think it looks good.

Unfortunately with the addition of the boxes the turret can't turn all the way around.

The hatches on the body, and no, unlike my Panzer IV it does not have a drivers compartment.

The hatches on the turret open...

...The hatches on the turret Closed.

Yes the main gun suspension.

The Tiger, next to my model Tiger.

A little game of Cat And Mouse, I wonder who would win? guess correctly and you'll get a cake! just like the one in Portal. (in other words, You Ain't gettin any cake.)

Real Tiger I Tank.
To get a look on how MUCH of an improvement this is take a look at my old one. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/210240

This just might be your best tank yet! I really like the idea of putting boxes to take up space, I've done that to before too. It looks a wheel or so to long. Oh, and the first wheel should be in (the inner row of wheels)on the right side. |

Awesome, epecially considering your shortage of pieces! I have a possible solution to the back--you know the pieces that connect the treads to the body? Make those pieces somehow attached to the exhaust pipe things and get rid of the rest of the back. Great work though. Mind commenting on my WWII stuff?
Thanks,
