haha yeah, like i said, i cheated. so i have a little skill saw and gently cut the piece in half. I did the same thing again to create the impression of the american flag on my space shuttle. I try to come up with ways to avoid having to actually modify a piece, but after enough time, i eventually cave. every now and then though, Lego will come out with a new piece that fits the bill.

Absolutely incredible. The thing I noticed about the nacelles was that you cut those blue grill pieces in half ( =O ), although I'm not sure if it's just hidden... is it?

It's beautiful, very nicely done. The saucer is especially good, since you went with a different technique than most and it makes a nice effect.
