"Mako" Class AMB Submarine
Advanced Missile Battery Submarine, a joint-project between Oceania, India, and Malaysia.
About this creation
The Advanced Missile Battery will serve in the navies of Oceania, India, and Malaysia, and quite possibly the U.A.C. as well...

anyway, after a long time in development, she's ready, I also built a dock scene to go with here, just to make it special.

armament:

30 missile tubes, each capable of carrying either 1 Ballisitc Missile or 7 Cruise missiles. It is of variable design.

6 torpedo tubes.

Vertical view, showing the sub in the drydock scene.

I just love this little heavy navy-yard-crane I built.

Sub out of water.

More submarine.

Rear view, you know you want it...

Drydock dio without sub.

The drydock also fits my escort destroyer.

I'm running out of time just now, but I'm tickled this caught my eye before I leave. I totally applaud the dock scene, with crane and water. The sub is cute too.

Quoting Hank Hansen which mako? The shark or the actor?
The shark, I think that would have more to do with submarines than an actor...

True enough; suppose I didn't even think about the Ohio-class.

Quoting Dr. Spontaneous That's an awfully long submarine. If I'm not mistaken, the Virginia-class is only 110-115 meters [I don't recall exactly]. Still, good stuff.
But the Ohio class is about 550 feet, a true-blue Boomer that one is.

Quoting Jake H. As I said on Flickr, neat little vig. and nice shape. Although I have to wonder, how big is it?
In compliance with standards for Ballistic missile submarines, for 30 missile tubes, this runs at 600 feet long. Which conveniently puts the scale I use for all my "Blue water" ships at: 1 stud = 40 feet.
