About this creation

I was commissioned to create this portrait of the headmaster a private grammar school in Australia, who was given it as a gift from his colleagues upon retiring.

The school staff wanted the portrait to incorporate not only the headmaster himself, but also the school's crest. I also decided to fill the background with red stripes to match the school uniforms, flags, and signs that I saw on the schools' web site.

As always, my LEGO portraits are hand-drawn, not computer-generated, and mounted to a wooden backing similar to a canvas painting.

Quoting David Pagano I won't lie; I was kind of disappointed that this was not a transforming robot whose head transformed into a smaller robot.

The CEO of Target wanted one too and insisted on being called Targetmaster.

Wow! This is one of your best portraits. At least, you had a good subject. :P I really like how you incorporated the crest and stripes. It is artistically very appealing.
